JOB DESCRIPTION

We are excited to again this year partner in one of Tasmania's largest events.

We are seeking a highly experienced Front of House Manager to organise and oversee daily FOH operations of our culinary kitchen events. You will be responsible for coordination activities and aiding the success of this event.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven experience as a hospitality manager in a busy restaurant, cafe or catering environment
  • Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Experience with managing multiple events
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Worked within a festival and or event environment
  • Food handing certification
  • RSA Certification
  • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
  • Calm in pressured environments
  • Conflict management abilities
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast paced work environment

Duties will include and are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of a wide range of foods and beverages
  • Coordinate operations to ensure maximum efficiency's
  • Roster, supervise and manage front of house staff
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality
  • Handle customer complaints when necessary
  • Enforce adherence to regulations and standards
  • Ensure venues are kept clean and set for events on time
