This full-time position based at Cleary’s Gates Depot, is responsible for purchasing, managing a range of contracts and conducting market analysis to deliver best value for money outcomes for the City in line with procurement and contract management best practice. The position also provides advice and purchasing assistance to stakeholders.

The successful candidate should have at least a Certificate IV in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline and significant experience in purchasing and managing contracts; well-developed interpersonal skills; experience using finance, inventory and general office systems; a current drivers licence and forklift licence (or ability to obtain a forklift licence).

This part-time position (24 hours per week negotiable) is responsible for the preparation and regular monitoring of annual budgets, targets, fees and charges and other financial reporting activities.

The successful candidate will have a certificate in Financial Administration and relevant experience; excellent communication; well-developed financial report writing skills; familiarity with financial reporting software and ability to quickly learn new systems. Also required is a demonstrated ability to manage time, set priorities and achieve planned objectives. The candidate must have experience in annual budgeting process, ledgers, purchase orders and banking and reconciliation processes.

This full-time position oversees a team of Labourers undertaking a range of civil asphalt, construction and maintenance activities, ensuring plans are correctly adhered to, machinery is correctly operated, safety procedures are adhered to and timesheet and costing data is accurately recorded.

The successful candidate must have experience in the Civil Construction Industry, a Certificate 4 in Civil Construction (or higher), a Medium Rigid Truck Licence, a White Card, worksite Traffic Management skills and supervisory and training skills for staff working in a high risk environment. As well, the candidate should be able to operate a wide range of small to large plant equipment (ie from compaction equipment to excavators), have well developed communication skills and be interested in obtaining a Frontline Management qualification

This position is responsible for undertaking of a range of civil and/or asphalt construction activities safely (ie hot mix asphalting, concreting, pipe laying) and assist with the training and mentoring of trainee staff.

The successful candidate should have experience in civil construction operating excavators, rollers, skid steer loaders and other large and small plant and machinery and have basic worksite traffic management exposure. It will be important that the candidate can work in a team environment; have effective communication skills; hold a current Medium Rigid Drivers Licence, Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
