Permanent, part-time day work working 68.4 hours per fortnight commencing

Duties

As part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality health and wellbeing services to young people, the occupant will:

  • Foster the capacity of young people to manage and maintain better health and wellbeing outcomes on an individual and group basis.
  • Provide health and wellbeing promotion and preventative services.
  • Support the day to day services of the Pulse Youth Health Service.


Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or


  • Degree in Social Work giving eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or


  • Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.


  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.


The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty

2. Identification check

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check
