About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Leader with significant electricity network asset, program development and delivery experience to lead our Program of Work Performance team.

You will be a qualified engineer and will be leading the development of TasNetwork€™s Rolling Program of Work (PoW) as well as implementing technology and systems that support the optimised development and delivery of the PoW via internal and external delivery partners. This is an exciting, fast paced role that will put your continuous improvement experience to the test and ensure that TasNetworks can deliver it€™s works programs in an efficient, and cost effective manner while managing asset risk through optimised delivery methodologies and tools.

At TasNetworks, we own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 285,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers.

About you

  • Attained tertiary qualification in engineering or extensive equivalent professional experience.
  • Possess experience in successfully leading teams within the works planning and programing discipline of a similar size/complexity.
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical comprehension of each input in the delivery chain (design through to execution).
  • Ability to effectively challenge the status quo and act as a key influencer across the delivery chain stakeholders to enable TasNetworks to realize the full value of its investment in implementing its Management Operating System (MOS).
  • A demonstrated understanding of the National Electricity Market, and associated regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively across multiple work groups at TasNetworks (including external contractors) to facilitate the development of a deliverable plan.
  • Ability to build and lead an effective team with a high degree of analytical capability and a commercial focus.
