About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Officer to work in our Learning & Development department. In this role you will identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge, initiate innovative solutions, drive professional development and ensure the ongoing success of the St Vincent de Paul learning, development, quality and compliance programs.

This role is responsible for supporting new and existing employees, ensuring they have completed the induction program, probation and performance reviews and all mandatory training.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving a positive workplace culture, a can do attitude, and the willingness to assist in other areas of HR including recruitment.

  • Demonstrated effective computer literacy skill
  • Effective written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, including effectively communicating with stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds and groups.

The desirable candidate would a Training, Quality, compliance and/or HR background.

It is a requirement to have a compliant National Police Check and a working with Vulnerable people card.
