Manager needed to lead the development, construction and leasing activities for TasPorts interest in Tasmania.

Your new company
TasPorts is a state-owned company responsible for eleven Tasmanian ports and the Devonport Airport. They are a vertically integrated organisation, providing a diverse range of port and marine operations and services around Tasmania. TasPorts proudly connects people, products and solutions for the benefit of all Tasmanians.


Your new role
This newly created and influential role has been designed to align TasPorts' property development ambitions with their strategic commitments and master plans. This role will see you preparing business cases, reports, board papers and tender documents to ensure you identify and optimise property development opportunities and outcomes. You'll be responsible for the management of commercial property agreements whilst ensuring you achieve targeted returns and minimising risk. As manager, you'll also be required to contribute to the strategic direction of your division whilst inspiring and engaging your team to deliver best practice results.


What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be knowledgeable and deeply experienced in property development, infrastructure development and property management. You will have profitably delivered and managed numerous commercial developments from concept through to construction and operation. You'll need to be familiar with development and construction documentation and its importance in managing risk and optimising returns. You'll be commercially astute with highly developed communication and negotiation skills with the gravitas to lead and inspire your team to deliver complex commercial outcomes.
