The Assistant Director is required to manage and lead a team to deliver a range of projects and core business activities that support the Benefits Integrity and Digital Health Division to enhance and improve its business systems, polices and processes.
The core responsibilities for this role are:

  • Manage staff to develop business requirements, system and process changes.
  • Manage and guide staff to complete impact assessments for proposed changes or new initiatives.
  • Produce written reports and verbal presentations for staff and senior managers.
  • Undertake detailed project planning for major changes.
  • Oversee the management of governance frameworks.
  • Oversee and manage the division's system support desk for all business staff, including staff training programs on the Division's key tools and systems
  • Manage external contracts with key vendors and other government departments
  • Lead the division's SharePoint development program.
  • Develop and lead staff with a coaching mindset.
  • Lead and create a positive workplace culture
  • Operate as a senior leader within the Compliance System Section Leadership team.
