Permanent part-time day work (16 hours per fortnight)

Public Health Services - South.

Duties:

  • Provide a high level, confidential service to people who inject drugs (PWID) through:
    > Issuing injecting equipment to NSP clients.
    > Providing harm reduction information and promotional material to increase drug harm awareness.
    > Referring PWID to appropriate support and clinical services, as and when required.
  • Identify changes in relevant client circumstances and provide feedback to the Coordinator NSP as required.
  • Monitor and order NSP equipment and resources to ensure uninterrupted program service delivery.
  • Collect data and update records to support statistical records, auditing processes and reporting activities undertaken by the Coordinator NSP.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs.
