We are currently looking for a Mechanical Trade/ Fitter to join the Reliability team at the James Boags Brewery in Launceston, TAS.


As the Mechanical Trade, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, undertaking installations and diagnosing faults. You will work across a variety of areas including Brewing, Packaging and Utilities.


Your experience:

  • With your diagnostic skills already evident, this role would suit a logical thinker that has experience using problem solving tools.
  • Experience within brewing, manufacturing, mining or FMCG is highly regarded.
  • Any experience working on packaging machines, pump installation & maintenance and have a good understanding of pneumatics vales would allow for a smooth transition into this role.
  • Team player, passionate and willing to go the extra mile to make a difference.

This is a permanent role on a rotating shift basis (you will need to be available for day, afternoon and night shifts over a 3-week rotation).
