Full Job Description

As a trainer in the Hobart Region, you will play a key part in providing additional support to the team in the successful delivery of the SEE program.

Be part of making a difference in your own community
Support and guide students towards employability
Mentor and support students to achieve their individual goals
This is a Casual role only - to cover annual leave or staff absence
Support students through to successful completion of their training and attainment of required outcomes
Develop teaching resources that meet training package and contract requirements
Deliver a range of curriculum using mandated resources to achieve outcomes for students
Conduct and document initial client interviews and pre-training assessments
Use effective learning techniques, strategies and resources to meet the challenging needs of various client groups
About you
Be a driven, supportive and community minded person, working with disadvantaged learners and non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning
Well-developed knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF)
Genuine passion to assist others to build opportunities through education
Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
Qualifications including TAE40110 and upgrades (or TAE40116)
