Hobart Private Hospital is seeking full-time, part-time and casual Registered Nurses across all departments.

Hobart Private Hospital is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds co-located with the Royal Hobart Hospital in the heart of the city. Hobart Private Hospital provides Emergency Services, Angiography and Cardiac Services, Maternity, Medical, Surgical, Day Surgery and Endoscopy.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver evidence based nursing care
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure patient and staff safety
  • Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years Post Graduate Experience
  • Working with Children check
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Good clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered midwife experience against the current Healthscope TAS Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020, a salary ranging from $33.90 - $45.38 per hour
