Hobart Private Hospital is seeking full-time, part-time and casual Enrolled Nurses.

Hobart Private Hospital is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds co-located with the Royal Hobart Hospital in the heart of the city. Hobart Private Hospital provides Emergency Services, Angiography and Cardiac Services, Maternity, Medical, Surgical, Day Surgery and Endoscopy.

As an Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Medication endorsed EN may administer medications according to state law and organisation policy

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Enrolled Nurse qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications
  • Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered midwife experience against the current Healthscope TAS Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020, a salary ranging from $34.07 - $35.04 per hour
