We are seeking for Casual Disability Support Workers Level 2 to support participants for regular on going shifts in greater Perth.

Your New Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for passionate Support Workers with relevant experience to join a dynamic environment and support staff. As a Support Worker, you will provide assertive outreach support to NDIS Participants with a range of disabilities such as anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder. This includes intensive, flexible, responsive, client focussed support with the aim of assisting clients to successfully improve physical and mental health and develop connections with the community and achieve their goals.

Skills and experience:

Must be able to build rapport quickly and demonstrate empathy and understanding of issues relating to people with disabilities; and who may be at-risk and have high support needs.
Extensive experience and / or qualifications relevant to working with people with disabilities and knowledge of working in residential settings.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
A positive approach to the rights of people with disabilities and an understanding of how the NDIS works.

You must have at minimum:

Must hold a relevant Cert IV, Diploma or Tertiary qualification (or its equivalent) / including demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with NDIS participants with complex needs.
Most hold WWVP card or willingness to obtain.
Driving License (minimum P2)
Current First Aid certificate and medication administration certificate / or willingness to acquire it.
Must have completed NDIS Worker Orientation.
Must agree and sign a confidentiality form to protect organisational and participants’ information at all times.
