The bare roots of the job

Our Finance Manager is a key member of our Corporate Services Team and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the finance team with a focus on compliance and reporting including:

  • Developing individual team member capability, motivating and building a cohesive high performing team
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance to accounting standards, statutory accounts, legislation and taxation requirements including internal and external reporting
  • Facilitating internal stakeholder engagement to ensure the finance function adds value with the provision of timely and accurate financial information
  • Driving continuous improvements, including managing internal controls to mitigate financial risks

Who will join our journey…

This role will suit an experienced senior finance professional who has a keen interest in developing and leading others, who can demonstrate:

  • Business/Commerce degree and senior experience in a finance/accounting role
  • Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA)
  • Capability in building and leading a high performing team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand format
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with an ability to build and maintain credibility and rapport with a range of stakeholders
  • Current drivers licence
