Period of appointment

This position will be for a three year fixed term appointment up to 73.5 hours per fortnight.

Duties

  • Support the implementation of initiatives, projects and strategies, by leading the planning for, developing and delivering creative engagement strategies and campaigns.
  • Proactively manage engagement and inquiries received through internal and external platforms on projects and strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain high level campaign and engagement documentation and supporting information, to support project design, planning, delivery, implementation and reporting.
  • Establish and foster productive working relationships with stakeholders, including internal workgroups, other government agencies (both State and National), industry participants, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.
  • Develop integrated engagement plans that align with Government priorities and initiatives, such as alignment with the Tasmanian Brand.
  • Maintain awareness of activities and projects that could impact on, and can support the implementation of, the team’s and Department’s key deliverables.
  • Manage, and support the procurement of, consultations as required.
