Period of Appointment

Until 4 October 2022.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.


  • Undertake a wide range of clerical and administrative duties (typing correspondence, opening and closing files, archiving files, coordinating video links, assisting witnesses to complete witness statements witnessed by Justices of the Peace, making medical appointments, filling in draft forms (Medicare, Centrelink and others) and binding documents) to support the efficient and effective delivery of services by the Litigation division for Abuse in Care and other matters.
  • Undertake transcription services for Legal Practitioners with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Update and maintain the legal practice database, Visual Files, and use database tools to prepare documents.
  • Co-ordinate the briefing of witnesses and their attendance at court.
  • Compile, vet, and file documents such as Court books with the Court and arrange service.
  • Prepare reports on the status of Abuse in Care files.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team including providing support and guidance to administrative assistant positions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate saving of data.

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or Business (Legal Services).
