St Brendan-Shaw College is a Catholic, co-educational school located in Devonport on the North West Coast of Tasmania catering for students from Years 7 to 12. The College is seeking applications for the following roles:

Marketing, Promotions & Events Coordinator
Ongoing Part-Time
27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Start Date: June 2021

The role is responsible for ensuring the effective marketing and promotion of the College through traditional and digital media. The successful candidate will work with general direction and use discretion and judgement in duties including, but not limited to:

  • Organising internal publications (college magazine, newsletter, prospectus and other publications) and traditional media (newspapers, radio)
  • Initiating advertising strategies to enhance and promote enrolments
  • Coordinating and overseeing community engagement opportunities
  • Promoting various College functions and events including information nights and the biannual College production
  • Ensuring photographic images of College activities and events are recorded

It is expected that the successful candidate will develop strategies to promote St Brendan-Shaw College with resultant increases in enrolments and positive, professional engagement with the community.

Teacher - English / History / Religious Education

From 19 July 2021 to 16 December 2021

The College is seeking applications from experienced educators for this teaching position in the Humanities and Religious Education faculties for Year 7, 8 and 9 students. The position is timetabled for 2021 and will cover Terms 3 and 4.
