The Business Manager is a key leadership role within the organisation. As well as being responsible for facilitating the strategic objectives of the business, they will play in important part in ensuring that human resources and marketing support the strategic plan, oversee areas of the annual budget, manage the support team and focus on strong client delivery. The Business Manager will work with the Partners to look ahead and keep this progressive professional services firm an Employer of Choice.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Board and team in achieving business goals, to include the budget and short-term milestones.
  • Demonstrate a marketing flair to strengthen the firm's brand.
  • Oversee systems and processes to ensure consistent and high-quality outcomes for clients and team members.
  • Develop and continual monitoring of Key Performance Indicators across the organisation.
  • Maintain supportive business relationships and ensure good team connections.
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong business acumen to support the highly professional team.
  • As part of the Coaching Group, be prepared to travel interstate for quarterly meetings.
  • Prepare Board reports, management and financial reports and strategy documentation.
  • Update and maintain the business' Quality Control and Procedures Manual.
  • Manage and strengthen the brand via website, external publications and community events.
  • Demonstrate inspiring leadership and guidance skills in mentoring and developing team.

Background and Experience Needed

  • Hold an accounting or commerce undergraduate or similar post graduate degree.
  • Have held a similar role to have gained sound business knowledge and human resource management.
  • Proven capability in marketing, customer delivery and business development.
