Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

Our Team

The finance team drives planning and performance tracking – including financial and statutory reporting, management reporting, expense control, capital management, tax, payroll, accounts payable, risk management and external audit.

Your day

The core responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting from a user perspective, the maintenance and implementation of effective systems used by the firm to record its financial transactions mainly within the practice management system (Expert) and its interfaces with systems which record supplier and disbursement transactions.
  • Upgrading existing financial systems and the implementation of new functionality to these systems.
  • Improving and supporting the firm's business critical financial systems.
  • Operational tasks involving the investigation and resolution of day to day issues which may require liaising with vendors; system set up or configuration changes.

Your clients

Your key clients will be internal stakeholders at Allens, where you'll provide project management skills and be the systems expert in the implementation of new functionality, upgrades and business improvement projects.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous financial systems experience in a law firm or professional service environment.
  • In depth knowledge of systems accounting, implementation and maintenance from a finance perspective.
  • Understanding of the life cycle of a project, with strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
  • Experience defining, documenting and implementing acceptance testing procedures as part of overall systems quality control measures.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are met.
  • Experience using the Expert Practice management system preferred.

Work pattern

This is a permanent opportunity for a Financial Systems Analyst.
