Salary: $96,100.00 to $108,822.00 per annum, pro rata

Location: Hobart
Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.

Duties

As a senior member of the Economic and Financial Policy Division you will be required, both individually and as a member of a team, to undertake economic analysis, research and investigations and to prepare correspondence, reports and submissions.

In the context of the selection criteria, to be successful in the position applicants will have:

demonstrated the ability to understand complex issues and identify possible solutions;
the ability to use a range of sources to obtain factual information;
strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with spreadsheets such as Excel;
the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; and
demonstrated initiative and the ability to manage their own output and work effectively in a team environment.

Highly Desirable Requirements

Completion or partial completion of relevant tertiary or industry qualifications, and/or professional affiliation.
