Hotel Services Coordinator

Full-time position based in Launceston, Tasmania

About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Hotel Services Coordinator to support our Hotel Services Manager in the coordination and improvement of the delivery of the cleaning, catering and laundry functions in Northern Tasmania.

The Hotel Services Coordinator is resposible for:
Coordination of rostering and ordering to ensure the provision of high quality BEST practice cleaning, catering and laundry functions in line with all budgets
Ensuring all non-clinical operations including catering, laundry as well as maintenance and waste management maintain compliance and that they meet accreditation standards
Promoting food and kitchen hygiene and safety practices, to ensure compliance requirements are met

About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, to support them to live life to their full potential.

This is the place for you if you have:
Formal qualifications in Hotel Services, or similar
Comprehensive knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and experience with accreditation compliance (preferred)
Knowledge and experience of Occupational Health and Safety compliance in a hotel services setting
Experience and expertise in customer service and all aspects of kitchen management
Experience and expertise in the coordination of hotel services in an aged care or hospital setting, such services to include cleaning, laundry and / or catering
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
Commitment to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
Are willing to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church

You will need:
A current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (TAS)
Full Australian working rights
A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process
A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement
