Based in Tasmania and reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be accountable for the ongoing quality, efficiency and profitability of their portfolio of farms. You’ll work with everyone from Farm Managers to HR, Operations to suppliers and, everything in between, enjoying the chance to showcase your aptitude for relationship building.

What will you do in this (career-defining) role?

  • Plan and execute organisational growth strategies with a drive toward results and cognisance of all related costings.
  • Use your industry connections to regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders, government officials and the media, ensuring consistently clear communication.
  • Exceed the highest environmental standards related to farming, waste, biosecurity, and wildlife interaction.
  • Ensure the ongoing adherence to, and promotion of, existing safety-first practices.
  • Work in a manner which is directly aligned to company values, ensuring regular, open communication with executives and CEO.
  • Use technology and a team-focused approach to develop your staff, providing opportunities for company-wide feedback, growth, and development.
  • Collaboratively develop budgets and projections and review infrastructure requirements with site managers.

  • experienced in Aquaculture (10+ years) and Salmon Farming Management (5+ years)
  • degree/diploma qualified – Science/Aquaculture
