Permanent, full-time, day work, working 76 hours per fortnight commencing ASAP.

Duties
Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Executive Director of Nursing (EDON), undertaking a diverse range of projects as required.

This includes, but is not limited to:
General administrative tasks such as minute-taking, preparation of meeting documentation and routine correspondence, filing, document compilation and editing.

Preparation of materials using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Support, develop and maintain systems that facilitate safe, high quality health care service delivery.

Provide assistance to the EDON with research, collection and collation of statistical data, background notes and briefing materials. Assist in the preparation of reports, briefings, and notes as required.

Maintain the human resource, financial and statistical databases, and produce regular reports as and when required.

Support and provide secretarial assistance to committees as requested by the EDON, including compilation of agenda papers and minutes, and handling of confidential information.

Essential Requirements

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
