About who we support

Vision Australia provides services to more than 25,500 people clients from 35 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

About the role

  • Under the supervision of the project leads support research within the learning area development in Project EmployAbility;
  • Search for sources of best practice evidence and research using data bases such as CINAHL, Google Scholar and other sources as identified by subject matter experts;
  • Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder engagement through the development of surveys, completion of interviews or focus groups;
  • Collate, summarize and communicate findings for review by subject matter experts.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Must be currently enrolled in graduate studies at tertiary educational institution (Health Sciences preferrable);
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills along with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
  • Computer literacy skills in Microsoft applications, including Teams, Forms, Excel and the internet;
  • Experience and knowledge of databases such as CINAHL and Google Scholar to access current literature.
