About the job

We are looking for a casual Allied Health Assistant to join our team, working alongside our Allied Health Professionals and seeing participants in the community. The role will be based in our

Hobart

office. 


  • Provide Therapeutic Services under the clinical supervision of an Allied Health Professional to a range of designated NDIS participants 
  • Coordinate the delivery of therapy services to provide therapy programs to both children and adults with development challenges, as prescribed by the supervising Allied Health Professional
  • Work with Practitioners and participants to contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the therapeutic plan, as appropriate to the circumstances and needs of the individual participant.
  • Conduct home visits and visits to the community as required.
About you
  • Currently studying a Nursing, Exercise Physiology or Psychology degree or
  • Currently completing an Allied Health Assistant Cert III or IV
  • Must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be organised
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Time Management skills
  • Rapport building skills
  • High level of resilience and the drive to continuously learn
