Salary:

$113,010 to $118,998 pro rata, per annum.

General Stream Band 7.

Period of employment / Hours:

Fixed term full-time day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing ASAP and concluding 31 March 2022.

Location:

Emergency Coordination Centre - South

Duties:

• Provide high level authoritative, specialist advice on assigned emergency response services, programs, or projects.
• Provide high level leadership, support, and coordination to the Manager and ECC/EOC service, program, or project team.
• Take responsibility for the delivery of project/policy outputs as required.
• Represent the ECC/EOC through attendance at meetings internally and externally, as appropriate.
• Prepare high level correspondence, reports and submissions for senior management, the Minister and Cabinet as required.

Desirable Requirements:

• Qualifications and/or experience in emergency management.
• Understanding of Tasmanian Emergency Management Arrangements and DoH emergency response and recovery, policy, plans and procedures.
