Day Services Project Lead

Full-Time Fixed Term position

Are you looking for a new and exciting role working in the Disability sector? Able Australia is currently sourcing a Day Services Project Lead to join our team.

About the role

The Day Services Lead is accountable for continuous improvement and delivering change management projects to increase service quality to clients accessing NDIS Community Services. Specifically this role will manage several key projects to impact quality of care and increase service capacity. The successful applicant will have a strong focus on group/individual programming for implementation in line with the NDIS funding guidelines.
Implementation of transitional framework for the NDIS funding guidelines. Including supporting the creation of new service agreements.
Development of both group and individual programs with a focus on goal setting and capacity building
Role modelling best practive with staff and supporting staff with the roll out of new programs Working collaboratively with Team Leaders and Area Managers to deliver client focussed projects
Communicating with stakeholders in a timely manner
Develop project plans and deliverables that meet client and service needs
Models appropriate workplace behaviours that reflect Able Australia values, including promoting diversity, equality and inclusion, and address inappropriate behaviours in the workplace,
Contributes to development of & lead implementation of Continuous Improvement Plans/strategic planning across area of responsibility,
Proactively manages service development
Reporting back on project deliverables and the positive outcomes for clients

To be successful in this role you will need:
A willingness and passion to make a difference to the people we support
Enthusiasm, initiative and a positive “can-do” approach
Strong NDIS knowledge and programming experience within the Disability or Education sector.
A tertiary qualification in disability services, management, education or health services or related field (desirable)
Successful implementation of key project deliverables
Current First Aid

To be eligible for these positions you must provide the details of two referees who have supervised you; evidence of your right to work in Australia; and obtain a clear Police Check.
