The Role:
Working within the state wide mental health service you will be part of a multidisciplinary mental health service delivering high quality mental health care and a comprehensive psychiatric service in the northern region of Tasmania. You will act as a consultant to mental health professionals and health service providers including general practitioners and other agencies with regard to the assessment and management of patients with mental health disorders as well as undertaking supervisory responsibilities with Psychiatric Registrars and other medical staff.

The Service:
The adult, child and older person’s community mental health services are all centrally located in the city but deliver community services to the entire northern region. The inpatient unit is located within the three hundred beds Tertiary Teaching Hospital. 

The Requirements:
