We are looking for an experienced and highly passionate Aged Care Home Manager to join a friendly and supportive team in Launceston. The organisation we are working with, is one of the biggest Aged Care organisations, with a warm and fantastic culture.

About the opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor our team at an Aged Care home located in Launceston. This is a home where you will enjoy the support of an experienced team locally and extra support from a Melbourne based support office.
Skills and requirements to excel in this role:
- Have a current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Have previous experience working in Aged Care Home Management.
- Be an enthusiastic person with a high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness
- Be an effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Be someone who is effectively able to multitask, prioritise, delegate and manage
- Tertiary qualification in Health Science - Nursing or equivalent
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Maintaining a high standard of care delivery and services to residents at all times
- Ensuring that the home is accredited and compliant at all times
- Managing staff and rosters effectively within budget
- Managing staff to ensure minimal staffing or industrial issues
- Managing the home to ensure it is operating efficiently and within agreed budget
- Managing occupancy and ensuring this is maximised at a consistent level
- Ensuring goods and services are provided consistently at a high standard
