The Role
We have a number of positions available as a Tour Guide with SEIT, both FT and Casual.
As a tour guide with SEIT, you will take our guests out on an unforgettable small group adventure. You will work closely with the local community to bring the history, passion and culture to life as they enjoy a once in a lifetime experience. Key Responsibilities include;
Provide high level of customer service for all our guests
Deliver passionate and genuine commentary as you take our guests to various sites.
Build strong working relationships with all employees, community members and third party suppliers
Ensure safety and comfort of our guests while out on tour, ensuring all O H & S guidelines are adhered to
Maintain communication with Operations team whilst out on tour and communicate any issues straight away
The Candidate
You will be an excellent communicator, have a passion for Australia and the Northern Territory as a destination and will deliver exceptional customer service at every opportunity.
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain;
A light rigid (LR) license to drive a manual vehicle
Uluru Kata Tjuta tour guide accreditation- training provided
Current First Aid certificate
Excellent communication skills. Those with additional languages will be highly regarded to support our guests (German, Italian, Spanish, French, Japanese)
Knowledge, experience and willingness to learn about 4WD vehicles and general vehicle maintenance
Previous Tourism and touring experience will be highly regarded.
