The Role
We are looking for an Operations & Yard Manager to oversee the general upkeep of vehicles and tour equipment. This is a chance to live and work in some of Australia’s most iconic locations and work within a small tight knit team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate vehicles, stock and supplies (Including occasional trips to Alice Springs)
Assist in the preparations for the day’s tours and set up of on-site activities for the guides
Yard maintenance including general cleaning and basic repairs to tour equipment
Oversee fleet cleaning and detailing and ensuring vehicles and depot are compliant with internal and external regulations
Communicate regularly with the Office Manager as well as office team in Adelaide
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to think on your feet, get the job done right and deal with situations as they arise. You will also;
Bring great all round general maintenance/handyman skills
Possess a strong attention to detail ensuring our staff and guests have the best experience possible
Be an excellent communicator
Be able to manage multiple priorities at once with confidence and great time management
Those with a travel/tourism background will be highly regarded.
