Location:
Payroll Services - Statewide

Duties:
Assist with the management and oversight of the activities of Payroll Services with a particular focus on performance development and the effective delivery of payroll management and associated service delivery requirements.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff within Payroll Services together with delivering a confidential, quality, client-focused service.
Lead the implementation of new initiatives and other changes with a focus on client service delivery, effective communication and appropriate training and development, supporting Payroll Services’ staff to participate in broader HR issues.
Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of quality assurance measures and internal and external procedural guidelines to facilitate the accurate and consistent interpretation, implementation and application of relevant legislation, award provisions and Government and Agency policies and procedures.

Desirable Requirements:
Five or more years’ experience in leading a specialised team.
Relevant qualification from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent experience.
