Period of Employment

Permanent full-time day work, working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

Royal Hobart Hospital - Cancer Services

Duties
Support the team of administrative staff including co-ordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and ensuring duties operate efficiently and effectively across the Southern Cancer Service areas within the RHH.

Assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the ARIA oncology information system including regular auditing, promotion of data quality and management of the daily outpatient clinic set up and doctor availability in collaboration with Head of Department Cancer Services.

Provide as required system training to clinical and non-clinical users of the information system.

Essential Requirements

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check
