About the role Are you looking for an awesome opportunity to kick start a sales career in the automotive industry? We're looking for our next up and coming team member to support and learn from our experienced sales team - maybe it's you we're looking for? We specialise in all aspects of automotive sales including advice on vehicle suitability, financing, insurance, car care and servicing. The ideal applicant will be someone with the capability to learn and an eagerness to combine a high level of sales, customer service, liaison and administrative skills. This is a traineeship, entry level sales role so you supply the enthusiasm, perseverance and commitment and we'll teach you everything else you need to know! Learn the sales techniques key to showcasing our range of vehicles and aftermarket products and services with confidence and integrity Understand how to recognise and understand customer needs, prospecting new customers, attending to customer queries, follow-ups and lead generation Learn about and promote special sales offers, factory and dealer warranties and support, leading manufacturer technology and vehicle features Develop exceptional sales, relationship management and negotiation skills to build long standing relationships with our customers at every stage of the vehicle purchasing process Professionally represent the Group and ensure adherence to company and manufacturer policy and process at all times Develop a consistently high level of customer service, extended during every customer interaction to suit each individual customer's needs Key to being successful in this role will be a high level of customer service delivered every time, from the moment the customer enters the showroom until they take delivery of their new vehicle. This role will provide the successful applicant with further career progression opportunities to explore within our business after the successful completion of their traineeship. About you The ideal candidate will have a keen desire to achieve and determination to succeed. They will possess exceptional communication skills and have a passion for outstanding customer service. You may be a grade 12 leaver? Perhaps you are currently working in retail or a customer service role with a desire to further your career? Maybe you're passionate about the automotive industry? Or feel you have the right skills but just need an opportunity? To be successful in this role you will: Have exceptional communication skills and a flair for engaging with people Have a high level of mathematical ability and understanding of figures Be professional, reliable, well presented and have a commitment to delivering quality customer outcomes Be able to follow instructions, work independently in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable Have well developed I.T. skills, attention to detail and data integrity Enjoy a challenge, have a positive attitude, well organised and able to use your initiative Be willing to undertake and successfully complete the relevant qualification to accompany your on the job training (an eagerness to learn!)
