$66,421 to $91,807 pro-rata per annum

in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service Agreement) 2019

  • Access to the Grade 4 salary range $85,950 - $91,807 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.

Period of Employment

Permanent, full-time, part-time, shift work (fully rotational), working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing ASAP

Fixed term, full-time, part-time, shift work (fully rotational), working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing ASAP for a period of 2 years

Hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant

Royal Hobart Hospital – Emergency Department

Duties

  • In collaboration with members of the healthcare team plan, implement and evaluate patient/client care.

  • Practice in accordance with the NMBA codes and guidelines for registered nurses/midwives.

  • Involve patients/clients and their families/significant others in the planning and implementation of care.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty

2. Identification check

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check
