JOB DESCRIPTION

Your new company
Based in Kingston, this Tasmanian business who specialise in fitness and group training has built their strong reputation by focusing on their outstanding customer service. They are market leaders within their industry and are seeking a permanent part time Accounts Assistant to join their small administration team.

Your new role
As the Accounts Assistant you’ll be reporting to the Finance Manager, your main areas of focus will include;

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliations using Xero
  • Managing online customer enquires
  • Maintaining the CRM system
  • Regular back up reception duties
  • Other adhoc admin duties as required

This is a busy fast paced environment, you’ll need to be comfortable in an open plan office and have the ability to deal with distractions but still get your tasks completed.

What you'll need to succeed
As the preferred candidate you’ll possess strong experience within a similar accounts position. You’ll have high attention to detail, excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal), have a high level of self motivation, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Experience with accounting systems such as MYOB or ZERO is highly desirable.
