Contribute to effective people management strategies that build organisational capacity. This position is primarily focussed on providing advice and services in relation to strategic workforce development matters combined with some project work. The occupant also provides a high quality HR consultancy service in relation to a broad range of HR matters and strategic project work.

In the context of the selection criteria, to be successful in the position applicants will have:

  • demonstrated experience in a generalist HR advisor role, effectively interpreting and applying HR best practice principles, relevant employment law, legislation and contemporary HR practices;
  • demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, clearly, correctly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, by providing and obtaining information of a complex, technical or sensitive nature; and
  • a track record in building proactive and influential client and team relationships and responding effectively to client needs.

Highly Desirable Requirements

Completion or partial completion of relevant tertiary or industry qualifications, and/or professional affiliation.
