This Leadership position requires a strong depth of knowledge and previous delivery in a quality assurance and risk management role; however, this can be from a different business sector/ environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for integrating Quality Assurance and Risk Management systems throughout the organisation.
  • Support Managers in achieving compliance and Accreditation Standards.
  • Identify and continuously develop Risk Frameworks; make strategic recommendations.
  • Continually identify improvements and gaps in compliance.
  • Develop and continual monitoring of Key Performance Indicators across the organisation and facilitate audits to ensure compliance.
  • Nurture positive working relations with internal staff; board of management, consumers, employees, and volunteers.
  • Develop connections and key business relationships with State and Federal Government Agencies and Quality Agency Personnel as well as contractors and visitors to the site.
  • Research and maintain up to date with legislative and accreditation changes.
  • As a Leadership role, demonstrate a high level of problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Being able to influence others, through positive and strong communication to achieve ethical, effective an efficient business practices.
  • Provide staff training and support in quality, risk and compliance issues.
  • Participate in regular consultations with Departmental Managers and the Board of Directors.
  • Operate in accordance with Corumbene's Mission, Values and behaviours including policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Background and Experience Needed
  • Demonstrated a minimum of five years within a similar leadership role and understanding of WH&S legislation and systems.
  • Hold a current National Police Certificate
  • Working with Vulnerable People and Children screening clearance.
  • Current Tasmanian driver's licence.
