Period of employment / Hours:
Fixed term full-time day work (with on call) (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing ASAP for a period of 12 months.

Public Health Services - South
Duties:
- Set priorities, develop, and implement programs, policies, and interventions in relation to Tasmania’s COVID-19 response in collaboration with the PHEOC Directorate, PHEOC Medical team, the CDPU Nursing Director and staff.
- Coordinate the delivery of case and contact management activities and other activities and programs of the COVID-19 response in accordance with best practice principles and within a collaborative multidisciplinary framework.
- Provide regular reports on activities relating to the COVID-19 response
- Provide leadership in contemporary nursing practice and promote an environment conducive to innovation and change.
- Lead a team of Communicable Disease Clinical Nurse Consultants, Registered Nurses and other staff members responsible for providing expertise and guidance to members of the community and health care providers in the development of systems, policies, procedures and clinical practice protocols relevant to case and contact management activities.

Desirable Requirements:
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications.
- Experience in the use of contemporary health information technology, analysis of information and providing reports and recommendations.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
