Searson Buck Group are recruiting for a newly created permanent Finance Officer position within our Finance & Corporate Services Team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience and understanding of finance and accounts administration in a fast paced commercial environment. Based in the Hobart CBD, the position supports not only the functions of the internal organisation but to our many external business partners.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Payroll preparation, interpretation and processing
- Management of AR debtor invoices
- Processing of monthly AP invoices
- Debtor and credit check functions
- Bank and General Ledger Reconciliations
- Assistance in the preparation of financial reports
The successful individual will demonstrate:
- Prior working experience in Xero and / or MYOB
- High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
- Ability to work in a small dynamic team
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
The successful individual may have a Cert III in Accounts Administration or a Cert IV in Accounting & Book-keeping, most importantly however will be their ability to practically undertake the day-to-day functions of the role to a high standard.
