Reporting directly to the Head of Distribution and based in Sydney, the Business Development Manager – Wealth is responsible for creating new investor relationships to lead to the growth of TPT Wealth’s Income funds nationally. You are expected to have strong knowledge of Asset Management and proven record of sales, business development and relationship management.

The Business Development Manager – Wealth is responsible for:

  • Building TPT Wealth’s profile in the broader community;
  • Building, managing and maintaining a sales pipeline of new business opportunities and converting these opportunities to achieve targets;
  • Undertaking negotiations with key stakeholders, including clients and potential clients;
  • Maintaining effective internal relationships to support new business & retention activities;
  • Working with key stakeholders within the business to understand and leverage from existing sponsorships and relationships to gain further business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in financial services preferably with 2-3 years’ experience in business development roles
  • Technical experience in fixed income and credit markets would be desirable however other asset class experience is considered suitable
  • Preferably a network in the wholesale, corporate, not for profit, family office and SMSF space,
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are desirable;
  • Experience working to and exceeding business targets;
  • Understanding of Financial Services Legislative requirements.
