We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader - Lubrication, to be an integral member of our Whiteside maintenance team in Gladstone.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated, safety conscious professional to join the Whiteside maintenance team servicing all lubrication maintenance across the Alumina Refinery. The role will require both leadership and technical experience in lubrication. The role will ensure compliance to maintenance KPI's as well as reporting on early life failure of equipment to ensure safe operation of maintenance equipment to meet production targets.

Reporting to the Superintendent Whiteside Maintenance, you will:

  • Be responsible for daily safety rituals like daily toolbox meeting, safety interactions and field verifications on team members;
  • Accountable for scoping secondary work, reviewing plans and executing maintenance PM's as well as secondary or breakdown work;
  • Lead the team in all 5 pillars of the business: Safety, people, cash, partnership and growth;
  • Manage the oil analysis across site ensuring reporting of results through to our health database;
  • Manage the lubrication shed and hydrocarbon management across site;
  • Working closely with maintenance team leaders in all areas of the refinery to ensure communication of equipment risks are clear;
  • Working closely with the condition monitoring team, reliability engineers and mechanical engineers in reliability improvements and also prediction of early life failure;
  • Focus on the generation and/or continual improvement of maintenance strategies and tactics.
