The Tasmanian Health Service seeks applications for a community based Enrolled Nurse.

Salary
$59,976 to $66,421 per annum
Award
Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2019
Period of Employment
Fixed term, full time, day work, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.
Please note that part time hours may be considered.

Duties
The Enrolled Nurse – Community provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse and under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife to achieve planned patient/client health outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
- Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration
- Current Driver’s Licence.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
e) Serious traffic offences
2. Identification check
3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check
*as required by CHSP, occupants of this role are required to undertake a conviction check assessment every three years.
