About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to assist in the effective organisation and delivery of Resort orientation and Resort wide training, learning and development. To assist in the delivery, preparation and administration of training provided internally at Ayers Rock Resort and by various external training providers. Provide appropriate support for the learning and development department. Support the aims and objectives of the Resort, human resources team and the learning and development area.
This position is based at Ayers Rock Resort which is located in the Northern Territory. The resort has five individually branded hotel and apartment complexes across the resort we offer both our guests and employees a multitude of world class accommodation options.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Work closely with the Group L&D Manager to refine and implement a Learning and Development Strategy at Ayers Rock Resort including:
Assessing training needs on an on-going basis and assist in the delivery of training
Developing and enhancing tailored training solutions to suit the business, location and employee needs and aspirations
Co-ordinating and administering learning and development programs and training

Assist in the preparation and delivery of various programs across the resort including - New Employee Orientation, Resort Wide Meeting
Assist in the maintenance of L&D training attendance registers and the entry of these registers into Preceda where appropriate
Assist in the planning and maintenance of the monthly training calendar and room bookings and catering requests
Assist in the preparation of the monthly L&D EOM Report

About You:Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Current Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
Certificate III or IV Hospitality is an advantage • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
Relevant experience in coordinating and delivering learning and development frameworks to diverse employee groups in a complex workplace environment
Experience delivering training to small, medium and large employee groups
Excellent administration skills with experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point & Publisher
All roles around Ayers Rock Resort are of a physical nature and require a reasonable level of fitness and physical ability to perform the role safely as outlined in departmental procedures.
