Experienced Chef, NW Coast of Tasmania
This young high-end Italian restaurant is looking for that experienced special talent
Reporting to the Head Chef, your main responsibilities are maintaining the kitchen, ensuring an efficient and well-organised operation, and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service and the highest standards of meals and quality.
With a great package on offer ($65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per annum, depending on qualification and experience)
You will be:
- Cool under pressure and excited by a challenging fast paced environment
- A passion for the industry is a must
- Have a “can do" attitude
- Have clear and effective communication skills
- Superior cookery skills with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and experience within a commercial style kitchen
- Ability to deal with issues and complaints accordingly and escalate to the Head Chef where/when required
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team
- Maintaining the kitchen in a clean, consistent, and compliant state and in line with regulatory and legislative requirements
- Experience in making wood fired pizzas and pasta dishes is preferred
