Hours/Period of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day work working 76 hours per fortnight. Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant. 

Please note that access to salaries beyond $100,517 is subject to qualifications and application to the personal upgrade scheme.

Duties

Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of psychology assessment and therapy services to inpatients and outpatients of the medical, surgical and rehabilitation wards at North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) and Mersey Community Hospital (MCH).

Provide clinical expertise and best practice assessment and therapeutic interventions in accordance with organisational policies and relevant professional codes of conduct.

Essential Requirements

• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

Desirable Requirements 

• Endorsed with the Psychology Board of Australia as either/both a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychologist.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
