We are currently looking for a trade qualified Maintenance officer who is self-motivated, pragmatic, team player who thrives off a fast-paced environment and wants to be a part of a rapid growing Australian company!

About the role:
This is a full-time, hands on role, based at beautiful Nubeena on the south east coast of Tasmania.

Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, this role will see you working as part of the maintenance team enabling our Operations and ensuring optimum efficiency and product quality, safety and the minimisation of equipment failure in accordance with regulations, industry guidelines and company procedures.

About you:
To be successful in this role you must be a self-motivated team player who has a passion for hands on work and a commitment to safety in line with our Zero Harm culture.

Working with a knowledgeable team, you will be highly organised and capable of applying Tassal’s Work, Health and Safety System to our Marine Operations.

Attributes for Success:
Trade Qualification - mechanical (diesel preferred)
Commercially aware
Proven experience to fault find mechanical faults;
Computer literacy and the ability to adapt to new technologies
Background in welding (aluminium favourable)
Motivated by team results and prepared to work hard
Fleet Management (desirable)
Current driver’s license is essential
