Full-time opportunity for a business manager within the social and community services sector.
Your new organisation
An exciting opportunity is available for a business manager to join a local organisation within the community and social services sector at a time of exciting growth. This role is permanent full-time, with an attractive salary and flexible work arrangements on offer.
Your new role
The primary function of this role is to ensure the quality of the services delivered and that these are assisting with the achievement of their performance and funded objectives.
In this role you will be responsible for providing significant direction, guidance, support and input to the CEO. You will provide input into financial and organisational planning strategies highlighting quality-based requirements of programs.
What you'll need to succeed
You must possess strong organisation and communication skills as you will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies for operational management to meet agreed organisational performance goals and objectives.
You will be expected to be able to identify opportunities for funding, write successful funding submissions and acquittals and create and build key relationships with funders and stakeholders in conjunction with the management team.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated skills/experience in a management role in community services and programs, including monitoring compliance, progress and outcomes.
Proven experience in managing relationships with funding bodies, managing funded programs, achieving set targets and executing reporting requirements of funding bodies.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and write informed and effective policies and procedures relevant to a multidisciplinary NFP organisation.
Demonstrated skills/experience in human resources management, including facilitating change management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven knowledge of WHS and risk management.
Excellent commitment to, & ability to facilitate, strong teamwork; and strong ability to work independently (whilst ensuring accountability).
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including excellent IT literacy skills.
Understanding of the principles and practice of EEO and cultural diversity.
