A newly created role as a Document Controller using Aconex on an exciting project

Your new company
Hays Office Support are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller for well-known department whom specialise in a range of diverse activities from of scientific research through to logistics and transport within the Federal Government. This newly created project team based in Hobart are currently working on a large project and looking for a passionate, experienced Document Controller to join their team on a temporary contract for 12 months, full time hours with the ability to work from home.

Your new role
As the Document Controller on this new project, you will have the ability to strongly influence the document control procedures moving forward. You'll be responsible for providing document control functions of the Project, provide coordination and advice on the flow of documentation between the Project team, proponents and consultants / contractors, as well as other government stakeholders as required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful applicant you'll have experience using the document control system Aconex and demonstrated experienced as a Document Controller or similar role. In addition, you'll have;

Understanding of document control/creation requirements
Quality system knowledge/understanding
Ability to work autonomously
High level experience with software such as MS Office and related word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
Ability to obtain Baseline Vetting security clearance
