Facilities and services both in Tasmania and interstate
An experienced company with a well-structured team and a commitment to quality improvement
About the Role
Liaise with residents and their families to ensure the program meets individual needs and enhances quality of life
Work with a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver a "person centered" program, experiences and events that support residents' holistic wellbeing
Ensure a "consumer directed" program offering by planning, implementing and evaluating the program in consultation with residents and relatives
Monitor resident's individual abilities, interests and preferences and provide access to activities and programs that meet individual needs
Provide leadership, mentoring and supervision to Lifestyle Assistants and promote a harmonious team approach to the delivery of lifestyle services
Promote and participate in quality activities and provide outstanding customer service whilst maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends
Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise
About You
You will have:
A Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent or relevant industry experience
A warm friendly personality
The ability to form supportive relationships with residents and their families
Training in complementary therapies
Current First Aid (desirable)
Previous experience in a lifestyle role in an aged care or community setting
Experience managing and coordinating a team to achieve common goals
The ability and willingness to drive a 12 seater bus when required
